My second time buying Shwood sunglasses and I’m still super happy! Great product, great look, good quality and fast shipping. I also loke the little sleeping bag style pocket that came with the glasses. Thx guys.

I love these glasses!

I ordered a set of camp Mesa and camp Trail sunglasses. I ordered them because i really liked the way they looked, and the reviews said good things about them. I LOVE these glasses. I have had my Mesa’s now for about a month and a week. i’ve worn them at home, in the car, taken them to UK, Sweden (I am in Stockholm waiting to fly home), just about everywhere. I have had Ray Bans (mainly Aviators and other designer Brands (Persol Polarized (around $375, Prada Aviators, Ralph Lauren Acetate wayfarer type...). Really, these Camp glasses were the least expensive by far (typically about 50% or less than the costs of the above). The fit and quality of the Camp Mesas are SUPERIOR. Some reviews say these are not as good as the all wood. That is saying a lot! Because these are MUCH better than the many Ray Bans I have purchased in quality. The Persols are the worst quality of them all.
All I can say is - if you are used to expensive sunglasses and just want to try these out - DO IT. These are a fantastic value for the quality. If these are a stretch for your budget and you are worried, I think they have been way better than glasses at twice the cost. So, you are getting something good for your money.
My two recommendations:
1) Watch the exterior hinge point - the wood to acetate pinches the heck out of your finger if it gets caught. you quickly get used to it (like a dog gets used to a bark collar!). You won’t open it that way after a day of getting pinched a few times!
2) Get a hard case if you travel with them and put them in a backpack, briefcase... I recommend that for ANY glasses. soft cases suck for anything but protecting from scratches. get one from amazon for $5-7.

If you like the look of these and you are thinking you’d like them - GET THEM. i don’t think you will be disappointed.

Cellulose acetate is comprised of wood pulp, for a sustainable alternative to plastic without sacrificing durability.
Your glasses should travel everywhere you do. That's why all frames come paired with a protective travel pouch, inspired by retro sleeping bags.
TAC Polarized lenses reduce glare, enhance contrast, and provide 100% UV protection to guard against harmful UVA and UVB rays.
Keep your lenses crystal clear with the included high-grade microfiber cleaning cloth, debossed with the Shwood axe logo.
