CAMP Roadtrip / Oregon Coast
To celebrate the new CAMP Collection, we took three amazing weekend roadtrips from Portland, OR and put our new frames to the test. Follow along as we share our favorite spots and secret gems along the coast, into the desert, and up on Mt. Hood.
Salt & Sand
As the weather in Portland begins to shift towards the rainy season we were jonesing for some final beachy vibes before the six month onslaught of overcast. First stop of the roadtrip...Oregon coast.

Jerky Heaven
Sunset Produce Market
If you can make jerky out of it, this place has it. Salmon, venison, elk, turkey, buffalo, alligator, wild boar, yak, kangaroo, ostrich, reindeer, everything! Nestled on the side of hwy 26 on your way from Portland to the coast, it’s easy to miss, but definitely worth a stop for some tasty road snacks.

Cannon Beach
From Portland, Cannon Beach is the first main coastal city you pass through on this road trip. It’s full of fun shops, ocean views, and unique charm that embodies the Oregon coastline. We couldn’t resist loading up with a bounty of saltwater taffy!
Surf's Up
Short Sands Beach
Surfing is fun. Hiking through a lush old-growth forest with your board and a few beers before making it to a beautiful hidden cove with great waves is on a whole other level.

CAMP Topo Sunglasses
Black / Ebony / Grey Polarized
The Topo's retro shape and keyhole bridge offer a classic aesthetic with a natural twist.
What a View
Oswald West State Park
This might be our favorite view of the Oregon coast. The Elk Flats trail clocks in at just under 3 miles round trip, but you can do a short version to an epic cliff overlook. It feels like you are on top of the world.

Sand Lake Recreation Area
Grip it and rip it at the closest OHV sand dunes to Portland. It's a great campground and if you’re lucky, your campsite neighbors might offer you a ride on their quads!
Cruise The Beach
Pacific City
Want to drive down to the waters edge? Head to Pacific City and get those tires wet. Cape Kiwanda also has a massive sand hill and other explorable zones.

Yaquina Head Lighthouse
Originally built in 1872, this lighthouse has been immaculately maintained. Located due west of Agate Beach, OR, it’s fascinating to think about the years of winter storms this tower has endured. Not to mention the number of ships it has saved from their doom against the jagged rocks beneath the surface. Keep an eye out for whales playing in the small cove below!
Stay tuned as we head to central
Oregon next week!
