Canby Acetate Sunglasses

Comfort with a great look

The glasses fit like I’ve been wearing them for years. Not too big or too small…perfect fit!

Simply the best

I now have two pairs of the Shwood Canby sunglasses. One a black acetate pair and the other an older pair in the tortoise/ebony colorway, which Naomi over at Shwood VERY kindly found in their archives and sold me at a tremendous discount. I can’t say enough positive things about both of these sunglasses. In a way they’re understated since they don’t feature a beaming logo. In fact I struggled to figure out who made them initially. The fit and style are second to none and the wood inlays with the metal accents add such a tasteful touch of class! They offer more coverage from the sun than the Ray Ban Wayarer and the specific way the Canby is shaped offers something that’s both very flattering to the vast majority of face shapes but also a bit unique and different. They spared nothing in attention to detail in the design of these and I can’t wait to try the other styles and colors. Looking forward to new colors or reissues of old colors of the Canby too!!
