Plant-Based
All of our CAMP frames are crafted with a plant-based bioplastic, This unique material offers a more sustainable alternative to petroleum-based plastics, resulting in reduced environmental impact.
Born from a seed
Prized for its resistance to drought and low use of resources, the seeds of a castor plant are harvested as our hero ingredient.
Pressed into oil
The castor seeds are then pressed to produce a dense oil rich in fatty acids. Castor oil has been widely used for thousands of years due to its rich and unique ricinoleic acid content.
Formed into pellets
Through the process of polymerization (the combining of small molecules to create a large chainlike molecule), the oil is turned into plastic pellets called polymer.
Cast into molds
The polymer is then injected into our signature CAMP molds, resulting in strong, lightweight, and ultra-comfortable frames.
Climate Neutral
We offset our entire 2021 footprint by purchasing carbon credits to fund climate change solutions. We supported four projects projects focused on advancing renewable energy generation, and forest conservation around the world. Each project is independently verified, ensuring they effectively protect our climate.

I saw a buddy wearing these and asked to compare them to my Maui Jim’s… very similar at a fraction of the price. I get a lot of compliments and can’t wait to buy another pair.

I have 2 other camp series glasses from last year and I love them. The new national parks series is great, love the shape and styles. I got the Arches style, love the brown polarized lenses.

I have ordered three pairs of these sunglasses from Shwood. And not because they keep breaking or anything like that, I'm just clumsy and keep loosing them. But I still keep going back to the same pair. Love the HD Plus Polarized Blue Flash lens. It reduces just the right amount of sunlight while keeping the color tones neutral. Almost like you're not wearing any sunglasses at all. Would highly recommend these to anyone!
