In collaboration with Carryology, this limited edition Matte Black and Orange frame features Carryology's Auxikko pattern engraved on the temples. This limited edition package includes a custom sleeping bag travel case, microfiber cleaning cloth, and paracord eyewear retainer.

Plant-Based

All of our CAMP frames are crafted with a plant-based bioplastic, This unique material offers a more sustainable alternative to petroleum-based plastics, resulting in reduced environmental impact.

Born from a seed

Prized for its resistance to drought and low use of resources, the seeds of a castor plant are harvested as our hero ingredient.

Pressed into oil

The castor seeds are then pressed to produce a dense oil rich in fatty acids. Castor oil has been widely used for thousands of years due to its rich and unique ricinoleic acid content.

Formed into pellets

Through the process of polymerization (the combining of small molecules to create a large chainlike molecule), the oil is turned into plastic pellets called polymer.

Cast into molds

The polymer is then injected into our signature CAMP molds, resulting in strong, lightweight, and ultra-comfortable frames.

Climate Neutral

We offset our entire 2021 footprint by purchasing carbon credits to fund climate change solutions. We supported four projects projects focused on advancing renewable energy generation, and forest conservation around the world. Each project is independently verified, ensuring they effectively protect our climate.

Great glasses, but…

This is a great collab between a beloved brand Carryology and an eyewear manufacturer I (being in Australia) had never had the pleasure of knowing before now.

The frames feel premium with their inclusion of various types of wood, reflecting their design philosophies. The hinges articulate well and flex for the wider headed individuals amongst us like myself.

However, I do have to make a note for those of us with wider heads. Normally I wear Rayban Classics that are 144mm wide and decided to give the Topo a try with their slightly narrower profile at 140mm, not expecting much issue (as 144 has ample room to breathe.)
Unfortunately while amazing glasses, they feel tight for a 140mm frame and even with their great flex they still cause pain.

Tl;dr: Amazing glasses and great materials. Sizing is slightly smaller than listed so do not expect extra give for larger heads.

I hope in future designs are offered in variable frame widths.
